1964  [In 1876 the Anglican missionary, E. J. Peck, took over a mission on the east coast of Hudson Bay at Little Whale River, and for the benefit of the Eskimos in that region transcribed in Evans' syllabic script parts of the New Testament that had been translated into Eskimo by a Moravian missionary on the Labrador coast.]
1965  The chapter received thank you letters from the children written in English and Eskimo script and signed, "your nieces and nephews," under such names as Eleesapee, Jukee, Ooleepeeka and Elijah.
1966  The talks on co-operative operation and a guide book of fur have been translated into Eskimo syllabics.
